It looks amazing on the gold iPhone cause the gold color of the iPhone still shows through, and they all are still get the sparkle of the gold leaf pieces. All the buttons work seamlessly, and it’s absolutely beautiful. Sometimes a case with clear parts looks cheap in personal but this doesn't- the clear parts are crystal clear and thick. Yes the gold leaf is randomly but evenly distributed and a very beautiful yellow gold.The flakes don't touch the surface which is super smooth and you can see the iPhone still.

There's two parts- a bumper that you put around your phone first then you snap it into the back plate. It fits inside the plate and there's "button" extenders which are metallic. The silence button is a bit far inset because of the thickness but it's okay if you can use your nail.

The "lip" on the front is enough that placing your phone face down doesn't let your screen touch. The bottom is open so that when you use the fat 30pin-to-lightning converter, you don't have to remove the case. The back of the case is glittery and very snazzy. The gold is shiny and the plastic is clear and seems very sturdy.There's no denying that this iPhone case looks dazzling. In fact, the product photos don't really do it justice. The gold leaf - supposedly real 24k gold, if that matters - shimmers in the light. It's basically gold leaf molded into a piece of plastic, which may sound cheap but creates a really beautiful layered effect. There are also overlays for the side-buttons that are painted, giving the edges a nice gold accent. It also seems pretty durable. The backing is a hard plastic, and it comes with a thick gasket-like bumper that fits over the edges of the phone. It is pretty easy to put the case on.
